well i decided i want to get a reptile or some sort. im not sure what though, i was going to get an iguana but they need such a huge cage. i sorta want something that can live in a 10 or 20 gal tank. can some one suggest some animals that might work. oh please not really exoic ones, i dont really want to pay over $50 for the animal (i know that setup stuff costs more)

thanx

I would go with something easy such as anoles or maybe a leopard gecko. Anoles are the easiest lizard and the cheapest, not to mention that they are somewhat neat to any beginner. You could keep two of them in a ten gallon and you could even try and mix in one or two green tree frogs (but the tank size must increase). This community tank worked well for me when I was younger but the tank must be misted atleast once daily and there must be a good water supply or else the tree frogs will die from dehydration. Leopard geckos are a bit harder for someone who is overall new to lizards. Good luck with whatever you choose and welcome to the wild world of reptiles!

well heres some ideas for a ten gallon:
pair of green or brown anoles
sandfish
tropical forest armadillo lizard
leopard gecko
a pair of bibrons geckos
up to a trio of ocelot geckos

for a 20 gallon:
pair of green or brown anoles
desert spiny lizard(check for parasites before you buy them)
any of the curly tailed lizards
red sided skinks
2-3 leo geckos
pair or trio of long tialed grass lizards

If you need any info on these just ask and i can tell you.also alot of the ones I suggested are good beginner breeding projects.
