how to probe a snake?

I'm doing a little research and would like to know if anyone could direct me to some information about using probes or other means to sex snakes. thank you.

You can find good information on the VPI site (click here).

If you�ve never used this technique to sex snakes, it is a good idea to have someone with experience demonstrate it for you first and then watch while you try it. Check out a local herpetological society meeting for help.
