just like xelda said, you might want to remove him and place him in a separate container so he doesn't get crushed by any of his hides, logs, dishes, or other things you might have in your tank
he'll be fine, i picked up my leo a few months ago from a house 30-45 mins away from my place and drove it home... my leo didn't seem to be stressed out from my crazy san francisco driving and ate a couple crickets after i put the tank down in my room. she was pretty active and alert and didn't retreat to her hide after eating. she just explored the walls of her tank
but, if your leo retreats to his hide once you put him in, he might be a little stressed out from the drive so if he doesn't wanna come out, don't disturb him for a day or so, but leave mealies and water in dishes for him... he'll come out soon enough and then you can start trying to get him 2 walk on ya
take care and good luck!
