Ok, Jak is staying it Boston for Thanksgiving...BUT...

chikimonke Nov 23, 2003 10:25 PM

I have one week of classes after thanksgiving then finals, and then i'll be going home for x-mas break, about 4 weeks. I'm going to have to bring him home then, as i can't be driving down to boston every other day or so to feed him and things of the sort. Is this going to be ok for him? the cage setup will be the exact same for him once I get him home and it's only a 45 minute drive. Just makin sure I don't stress Jak too much. Thanks for any input.

Sounds fine. Just keep him in a separate container, so nothing in his tank will slide around and crush him.

just like xelda said, you might want to remove him and place him in a separate container so he doesn't get crushed by any of his hides, logs, dishes, or other things you might have in your tank

he'll be fine, i picked up my leo a few months ago from a house 30-45 mins away from my place and drove it home... my leo didn't seem to be stressed out from my crazy san francisco driving and ate a couple crickets after i put the tank down in my room. she was pretty active and alert and didn't retreat to her hide after eating. she just explored the walls of her tank but, if your leo retreats to his hide once you put him in, he might be a little stressed out from the drive so if he doesn't wanna come out, don't disturb him for a day or so, but leave mealies and water in dishes for him... he'll come out soon enough and then you can start trying to get him 2 walk on ya

take care and good luck!
