Biggest ones get 6 feet or so, but not hugely thick around. On average, they tend closer to 4 feet in captivity. Miami lines can be even smaller.

hi, the biggest one i have ever seen was, luckily for me, a male i caught within a quarter mile from the old switzerland post office "building" in okeetee circa spring 1990. at the time of his demise(after i had him 6 years) he was 76 and 1/2 inches and very very big bodied. he was so huge part of one of his coils was sticking out from the tin he used as a hide spot, which is how i found him. the documented record length by the way is 72",but i know for a fact that it goes at least to 76 and 1/2 inches. thanks, howie

Only a hybrid would get that big! Just kidding. I remember that monster male you caught years ago that injected the "size" into your Okee project. How long ago was that? 15 or 16 years and you were Mr Okeetee then. Wish I couls stick with a project that long.
