just wanted to pass this idea on and see what everyone though.
my tv broke it is a very old console tv, you know the wooden frame....i was thinkin of taking the tv part out...... and painting and sealing the inside really well, opening up the top for lighting, and putting shelves in with the tile grout..... does any one think this would work for a cage?

Hey! Thats funny that you should think of that! Last week I had mentioned the same thing to my son. I thought it would make a great piece of 'retro' furniture. We also have one of those sitting in an upstairs closet, too heavy to move anywhere. Have you started taking it apart yet? I'd love to know how it goes, and I'll let you know if I tackle mine.
