Just thought I'd let you guys know. I took my thayeri kingsnake to the vet and she had 3 things wrong with her - which would explain why she has not eaten yet in my care. She had a trich infection, bacterial gastroenteritis, and pharyngitis. The vet gave me some flagyl to give to her so I hope it works.
Since the trich had to come from another snake or live mice - which I've been only attempting to give her thawed pinkies - and my other snake has never had a problem, I feel that this only means that she had these things when I got her at the reptile show. Does anyone here think the breeder should pay part of the vet bill? It was $100 for all the work they had to do on her and I've only had her for a month!
