When bearded dragons claws grow is this a sign of health? Also how can you tell if your dragon is too thin?

claw growth wouldn't indicate health...if your dragon grows steadily, then I would call that a better sign of health.

A skinny dragon would have sulken fat sacs on the head, hip bones petruding and a skinny base to the tail.
Course, most of these are examples of extreme skinniness.
