Hi Im Back But I need help

Mountaindragon21 Nov 24, 2003 04:38 PM

Ok my female Sicily is very fat and she's clean but has been pregnant for a while. Ok last night she was in the water bowl but hasn't began diggin yet, i have the soil in the corner of my tank. lately she has been on the side where the soil is located and not in the basking spot at all. Is this a indication that she 's getting ready to lay, she's been eating one worm every other day. All Lizards are in the tank im thinking of adding a piece of cardboard in the middle as soon as she starts digging so other lizards wont interrupt. please give me your opinions.
Thank you,
Your mhd friend M&M

So I cannot help you on the segregation thing
waiting for those eggs is MIND BLOWINGLY frustrating
Erowen was digging up EVERYTHING about a week before she layed her eggs
but she has only dug the one hole for this possible second clutch
Good Luck, and may the force be with you
I know I needed all blessings to keep from going mad when i was waiting
Poor Marcia put up with a lot from me (thanks again Froggie B)

You are welcome! As for answering the question, I do not separate my dragons unless I have 2 ready to lay at the same time and then it is only so I will be able to ID the mother of the eggs when I dig them up. I have never seen the others disturb the mom and she seems to be oblivious of the others.

It does sound like the time is near and you should have eggs soon.
