Good luck Tim on picking your next fuzzy friend. 
All of my furred family except one was either found or adopted. Pound mutts seem to make the best pets IMO and are grateful to be rescued. I'm sure Bailee would approve. Best Wishes...Raven

The very best dog I ever owen was a Lab I rescued from the pond! She would fetch,sit just a great dog.
I lost my pet wolf last wk while in the Hosp. He broke a chain,which was a logging chain. I've not seen him since. He was my friend & I miss him dearly. His face was solid white & his eyes were sooooo light blue,they looked like contacts. Whoever said a dog was a mans best friend,really knew what he was talking about.
Good lock with the new friend you & your wife get...plus you will be saving a life. GOOD FOR YOU !
