Hey, I've got a green anole, had him for 2 weeks and 2 days now. He's always light brown, hes afraid of the basking area. I don't know how to make it more appealing to him. When I pick him up he is cold, so he should want to go to the basking area. Should I add more plants around the basking area? Suggestions please.

Are you using a UVA-UVB lamp in addition to the basking area? Maybe the basking area is too hot, too... it should be about 90*F and not much hotter.
