Well as some of you have read from the post below Lisa from BeginnerBasics dad is ill (brain tumor) and in the hospital. She will be traveling up to see him on wednesday. She will be driving from Fl. to Va. a 14 hour drive on the day before Thanksgiving, as she can't afford a plane ticket right now. I thought it would be nice if everyone with some money to spare could contribute money to her so she could fly up. It would be very nice and make a very tough situation easier for her. I will personally start the contributions with a $20 donation. If even half the regualars donated half of that, Lisa would be able to fly to Va. Being able to fly would also make the return trip easier for her as she plans on returning with her father. Which would be tough because she would have to bring the vehicle she drove up and his truck back. It is the holiday season and we should all find it in our hearts to help others in our community in need.

If you would like to contribute you can send money Directly to Lisa via paypal. Her paypal account is beginnersbasics @ aol.com
obviously remove the spaces around the @ symbol that is in there so it doesn't get deleted. Also Joel Has an awesome male dragon that he will donate the highest bid, by 10 EST tonight, directly to lisa. And Christy is donating all proceeds from sales of classy lizard lounges. Both offers are very generous. Please consider helping out a fellow herper in her time of need. And remeber tis the season to give.

I am posting this without Lisa herself knowing. I talked to her this morning about her situation and felt really bad for her. To have to spend the upcoming holiday driving and worrying about a sick father is a very poor way to spend thanksgiving.

Thank You for your generosity
Derek

I can't believe no one has snatched this guy up. $50. plus shipping is where he is started at, you can't beat that.
10pm Est.time is the cut off.

Not to mention, you'll know your helping someone out in a time of need.

Come on guys,,, I have seen dragons that don't look this good, priced at $200

(Reminder: I am not keeping any money this guy brings in, it is all going to Lisa for her plane ticket to get to her father.)

Man I would love to take this guy, however, I don't want him to be breeding with my new female or harassing her since he's a little bigger. I know, beggers can't be choosers, but would you care to offer a female instead??? At that price I would take her for sure plus I would be helping out. I have 17 mins...

Otherwise, I will just donate $ anyway. Let me know.

Ok here is an adult male dragon from my personal collection. He is not in my breeding plans. He is a sandfire redflame X german giant. Well the red did not come through, but he is a cool yellow dragon. He does throw some nice dragons a few of which do show some GG genes (200 grams at 4 months old). He is a proven breeder, he fatered 2 clutches with a virgin girl last year. He isn't a large dragon himself (340 grams). However he is a dragon that can be maintained on salads, repcal adult formula, and superworms. He simply no longer desires to eat crickets anymore. So if you want a cricketless adult here he is. I have had him for just about 2 years. He is in good shape all around and brumating as we speak (ah the joys of boston) so he is ready for any of your girly dragons. I will start him at $75 plus shipping. Highest bid by Saturday at noon. You must paypal me the money or shock me with a good offer and send me a money order by wednesday. I can hold him for you if you want it to be someones xmas gift. Think of what you have to give thanks for. Right now Lisa's life has been turned upside down, and is in need please find it in your heart to help her out.

and some of his babies from this year. these pics are taken on the floor of my reptile room under artificial light so he throws some nice babies.
