How much of these do I use per culture? And where do I put the excelsior?

I put 1 TB of Spirulina per 2 Cups of Culture Mix. You should also mix some Spirulina with your normal Calcium (Supplement) Powder that you sprinkle on the FF's when feeding the frogs. As to how much... i don't know, i just dump some in. probably 25% Spirulina to 75% other, but it may be a lot less if I had to guess.

The Excelsior just goes on top of the mix inside the culture jar. The flies will crawl over it and the larva will cocoon on it. Basically adding tons of space to an already crowded culture.

I bury the excelsior a little bit so it doesn't fall out when I tap out the flies. But I use a dry mix from Saurian, then just add water and some yeast, so maybe this wouldn't be practical with the media you are using. I stuff in a gob of excelsior, pur in about 2 1/2 heaping tablespoons of the dry media down on top of it, shake it, then sprinkle in some yeast, then add the water. It really does add to the production and seems to even add a few days to the cultures. I don't measure anything exactly, either.
