stephencb Nov 24, 2003 09:18 PM

my lil girl still is not shedding i have heard people talk about assisting in the shedding process. i put her in a shallow bowl with luke warm water and try to pet her to try to get the skin off but it looks like it hurts her or bothers her. my question is. A I hurting her by petting her where her skin is shedding?

i don't think it hurts, because when my leo sheds, she rubs up against the openings of her humid hide - which is a piece of driftwood. mine will usually stay white for a couple days before she starts shedding on her own - just make sure the humid hide is sprayed once or twice a day
