Took my Russain group home today for their "summer vacation" & within hrs of letting them loose in the pen, 4 of the girls supplied me with 15 of the most gorgeous eggs (££££$$$$)you could imagine.
I still have another 6 females yet to mature, but it could be this season.
Best female laid a clutch of 6 eggs, what a darling.
If the all hatch it will make this breeding/conservation all worth the effort.
Fingers crossed, I'll let you know in 2 months

Absolutely fantastic! My girls have only laid two eggs per clutch! Hopefully when they get outside,they will be a bit more prolific. Congrats- keep us posted...t.t.f.n...Jody in WI
