What kind of camera are you using? The shots are very clear! I'm thinking of going digital, but I don't see how those camers could be as fast as my Canon rebel g

I think a digital camera with a good macro lens is unbeatable for showing off herps via the internet. In fact, it will show you stuff that you cant even see with your own eyes unless you look REALLY hard.

As for your Rebel... I don't know for sure, but I'd bet a good macro lens for it would cost as much as my Olympus Camedia camera cost.

If you're a good photographer, your SLR is still gonna be best. If you're mediocre, like me, the Digital Camera will work better.

I've stopped using my Minolta 35mm. I just do better with digital.

Thanks for all the nice comments...

The camera is a Canon 10D Digital SLR, the lens is a 55mm 1:1 macro (functions as an 80mm 1.6:1 on the digital body). For lighting I use a master/slave strobe system and bounce and diffuse the flash, fill-flacsh with a reflector.
