It takes about 21 to 22 days since the time she got pregnant to when she has babies.

everything always "lays" or "hatches".. like "my wife is due to hatch our kid any day now" LOL

you can expect babies in the next 24-48 hours i would say..

best of luck..

Sartori; you can also tell the people who are intelligent and those who are not. I myself, am a snake (s) keeper, and I know the difference between hatching, laying and birthing. Not a 'snake keeper' thing, an 'uneducated thing'.

it has nothing to do with one's education.. or one's intelligence..

snake keepers have a certain vernacular when it comes to dealing with their animals.. this does happen to spill from time to time into their "normal" speech..

same goes with computer programmers, ranchers, web designers, lawyers, police officers, almost every profession has a certain vernacular that is particular to their area of work/life...

just because someone uses the wrong definition of "birth" does not make them uneducated or unintelligent in any way..

could take offence at that statement. I don't think that saying or typing gravid instead of pregnant is a measure of intelligence. Rather, it is an indication that perhaps one has hopes of having their reptiles become gravid and lay eggs that hatch (hopefully) and that having rodents that get pregnant and give birth is secondary and only a means of feeding the reptiles that hopefully will, oh, you know!

What a slam!

if your kid is gonna hatch any day does that mean your wife is gravid?

I always want to say my rat is gravid!

I just sold a 1.3 group of very young mice to a friend's son so that he could start raising food for a snake he was planning to get. He was asking all sorts of questions about breeding, babies, etc. I kept catching myself starting to say gravid instead of pregnant.
