washing the cage?

katieh Nov 25, 2003 05:26 PM

My boyfriend just moved his scorpions into a smaller cage so my leos can have his 20 gallon. They're healthy as far as I can tell except there was a slight cricket infestation with a nest of baby crickets. I've taken everything out and vacuumed the cage. My question is this:

What should I use to wash the cage out that won't hurt my leos?

Thanks
Katie

Using a solution of 10% bleach and 90% water will kill most bactria. Let sit for 5 minutes and rinse with plain water.
Strong, safe, cheap.
