Looking for a tortoise.....

tortoisehead Nov 25, 2003 07:45 PM

that will clean house, do light electrical repair work, make phone calls I don't have time to make, grocery shop, dance like Fred Astaire for guests' enjoyment and attack any saleperson who dares come to the door.

Can anyone help me?

Sounds like a Redfoot fed from the start on a diet of Mazuri softened in injectable steroids. If you can find one, let me know. Good luck with your search. Brooks

I'll let you know if I find one, but I'm not sure if I will or not. I'm a bit cheap you see, and I'm only willing to cough up twenty bucks maximum for the talented tortoise.

Oh- ok. I'll have to recommend a hatchling Sulcata. The guy at the petstore says they're cheap, disposable, and if you keep them in a ten gallon fish tank they'll stay small. Good luck. Brooks

You guys are too funny. You'd be surprised how many animals you can keep in a 10 gallon tank, lol.

BTW, if either of you find a tortoise that will clean house AND do laundry, I want one, too.

Hey Tortoisehead- we have "popular" status! Pretty cool. I've always wanted a post I had a large part in to appear on the main page. Thanks. Brooks

Outstanding! We made first string. I must say, however, that I have no idea how one gets a "popular" rating. How does it work?
