Newborn rainbows won't eat

drizzt Nov 25, 2003 09:06 PM

I had a litter of Colombian Rainbows born almost a month ago now. They have all shed and a couple twice. Only 25% are eating. Is this normal? They are all in individual shoeboxes. The ones that are eating are taking large pinks. The rest won't even strike at the pinks. Trying cup feeding tonight, not much interest. Suggestions?

Drizzzt,
. While I have never had any trouble getting a Brazilian Rainbow started feeding I have had some Colombian Rainbows that were difficult to start. Some CRBs would only take live pinky rats for their first few meals.
