Thank you all for your speedy replies. After MUCH shuffling and cleaning over the last few days, I was able to get Ocho into his new cage last night. I ended up giving him the largest cage I own, larger than that one I originally thought about. It was occupied by my kingsnake, but she graciously moved into the narrower cage with little fuss. What a doll.

So now he's in a 4' x 16" x 16". He can move and turn around with plenty of space. In this pic you can barely see the top of his last cage under the table there, to get an idea what he moved out of.

It's a bare bones setup for now, but soon I will be getting some rubber shelf-liner for bedding and hopefully some nicer furnishings. For now though I think he's just comfortable having an extra square foot of space. Right now he's just laying flat on the floor, streched out just as much as he can possibly stretch!

Here's a picture I took of him with the late, great Diablo. Diablo passed about 3 months ago as I mentioned in the thread a few days ago. We miss him dearly, but through his passing he made available Ocho's move to a bigger, happier home. I guess it's sort of a fitting tribute.

Ocho looks like he enjoyed the move into the bigger cage. Glad I could offer a little help. It looks great. Thanks for sharing the pics.
