Hi everyone! I just wanted to say that I bought Kashka a harness and lead. It was made for iguanas, but it is completely adjustable, so it fits him too. It took a while for me to adjust it to him because I had to keep putting it on and taking it off till I got it to fit him just right. When I finally did get it on him securely, I set him on the floor to see what he would do. He hugged the floor and kinda looked around like he was thinking, "What next?"! Then he slowly started walking out of the room and he got the hang of it. I didn't want it to be to much for one day, so I then set him in his enclosure and let him walk around for a while in the harness while I watched him. I don't think he really likes wearing it, but he loves the exploring! And you should see how adorable he looks in his little baby blue harness!

i did the same thing this weekend, i actually have him in it right now! he hated when i put it on but now hes ok about it, if its warm tomorrow i'm going to bring him outside, shouldd be exciting. as soon as i put him down he took off though, looking for a hiding spot, i put him on my father too, he thinks hes going to bite him so he freaked out, hehe, im so evil

I got a leash for Brutus when I first got him thinking it was a good idea but he just puffed himself out and hissed at me when I tried to put it on him. I finally got it on him and he ran under one of my dressers in my room and them wouldn't come out...it sucked. It's funny b/c he loves to be held and will fall asleep on me but I just don't think he knows what to do on a leash...he's a wierd uro...but I love him.
I think I will just save it and maybe my beardie will like it when he gets big enough!!

How big should a uro be for the harness to fit properly?
they ahve all different sizes, but mine is almost 11 inches long so hes a full grown saharan, i'm going to ::try:: and take him outside today
