Looking to buy a pair. If anyone can direct me to a breeder I would appreciate it.

Thanks

If you are an experienced herp keeper, I apologize...but just some tips if you are relativley new:

Many new keepers see pictures of scarlet kings and want them...without realizing they are a pain.

They are small, and mainly feed on small lizards in the wild.
Newborns are a royal pain to get feeding, and even adults are challenging.

I would suggest you look into some of the larger milk snakes that look very similar (many are even prettier in my opinion). Scarlet kings are actually a form of mlik snake (Lampropeltis triangulum)

Look at Mexican milks (probably the closest resemblance to scarlet kings but larger and good feeders), also Pueblan mikes, nelsons milks, sinaloan milks, and Hondurans just to name a few of the hardier subs.

In the long run...you'll have a larger, less skittish snake that you can keep fed easily and breed if you so desire.

There's a reason not many breeders work with scarlet kings!
