Has anyone had any experience with this substrate for rodents? It claims to last longer that shavings with better odor control. It is about 3 times more expensive though.

I use celsorb. It is industrial strength I believe. I bought some from a friend who buys it in HUGE bulk. It does work well with absorption and odor control. I only use it for my 2 guinea pigs though. Because it is pellet like I only use a small layer on the bottom of the cage then add a layer of shavings over it to make it soft enough to live on. It is a little expensive and hard to find in small amounts. Sorry I couldnt help more. Maybe someone else here uses it for their smaller rodents. Goodluck, LM
If you dont have alot of animals it kind of works. I also don't like it for nursing moms. Try it and see if it works for you. I think its easier to clean cages. We've used it for about a month in the petstore I work in and are now back to pine. I dont think it works very well and for me is not worth the price. But thats my opinion.
