Thanks, Matt. I'm really impressed. This is the first macro shot I took with this camera. The functions on it are sure a lot better than the "throw away" digital camera I have been using for the past year or so. As far as price goes, this is certainly one of the more competitively priced 4mp cameras out there. In my book, it's a toss up between this one and the Nikon 4300 that some others are using here. I personally liked the color quality on this one, but the Nikons have the best macro mode in the biz, from what I understand. If you're looking for a quality starter camera with good image quality and ability to grow without breaking the bank (too much), you can get this one for around $350 (shipped). I took the printout to BestBuy, and they matched the price for me. Of course, I also bought about $150 in accessories also.
