Attaching Screen To acrylic

Hi,
I'm building some acrylic cages, and am wondering how to attach screen to a cut out section of the cage.

i attached the screen to a thin plywood frame and drilled holes at the corners. i placed a piece of acrylic, which is similar to the wooden frame, over it. took the whole thing and used screws and nuts to attach it to the main piece.
