Hey,
I have been trying to think of some different things to feed to my 3in snapper. I have been giving him rosies but I put 2 dozen in there and a few days later there already gone. So I have to go back and forth to the petstore to get food. Does anyone feed wild caught prey like small bluegill? I have seen millions of them since they are spawning now, and have been tempted to give them to him. Are they save or are they loaded with parasites? Thanks,

I am not sure where you are located, but if you feed them gamefish, make sure it is legal first...otherwise you can check out bait stores that carry fish larger than rosies....small shiners, chubs, crappie minnows, etc. I would contact a local fishery near you (if there is one) and see what they have to offer...they tend to be cleaner than the bait shops and pet shops.....just a thought. good luck.
