Colby, looks like someone's pet to me, a mutation of some sort of ratsnake maybe. If it were native to AZ, it might be a great find, but that doesn't look like anything from AZ. The only ratsnake would be a green rat from the Sky Islands, but it's not a triaspis. I'd try to give it away, or you could call the AHA in Phoenix. Jerry F., or someone could help ya'. Later....

I agree with Terry, that is most likely an escaped pet. If it's not a White Sided Black or Everglades Rat it may be a White Sided Bullsnake. I think getting a free one of any of those is a great score. Can you post a clearer pic and maybe a shot of the head? Tom
Rats and has bull snakes as well. He works with whitesided rats of all sorts and might be able to point you in the right direction.
