Hi: I'm new to your forum. I would like to start researching Chams in the hope of owning one or a pair one day. Would you direct me to someplace to read on all the FAQ for first time cham owners? Pictures of specific morphs(don't know if this is the right term-its the one we use for colors in frogs) would be helpful too. Thanks-Maggie

I commend you for doing your research before hand. Cham's are expensive and relatively high maintenance pets to keep, but with the right info, species choice and husbandry you, and your cham, will be happy that you cared enough. Cham News (joe gave you link) has an article on the true cost of cham keeping - check it out.

Check out John's (Charm_Paradise) 5 most FAQ and his Do's and Don'ts list as well. He also has info on plants, etc. As you do your research feel free to the folks on this forum to help clarify info and/or help out in info you simply can't find.

Have fun!

...your very reliable, competent help given with such a warm disposition! Its so important to me that I give my Cham a really great start and a new owner that would make him/her the happiest Cham possible. The sites gave a great start! Expect a lot of questions from me. I took 5 months of reading every night, planning, questioning people before I'd even put myself on a waiting list for a Dart Frog. Glad to be amonst such a nice group of people and their Chams! Maggie
