Looking for some info on the temperament of these. Are they nervous at all? Biters? Any info will be appreciated.

Thanks

With baby annulatas (Mexican Milks), they tend to be like other baby milks, nervous, but I have never had one attempt to bite me, nor musk. I raised a few from babies to adults, and now they are tame as dogs lol. I would say they are less nervous then baby peubs, but still kinda the same. Good beginner milks

I breed and love my mexican milks. They are some of my favorite milks next to the black milks. As babies they are a bit jumpy and have been known to strike. If you do manage to get bitten by one, you most likely won’t feel a thing. They will strike as more of an intimidation tactic. They tame down real quick and make great snakes for children, beginners, and novices. I have worked with people in the past to help them overcome their fear of snakes and have had them handle the mexican milk.
Mexican Milks stay relatively small averaging 24 inches. They like a dry enclosure and live in temps between 78 and 84 degrees. All of my breeders eat adult mice. A bit of advice before you buy, please make sure if you buy babies that they are eating un-scented pinkies. Scenting is a major pain in the arse that I don’t think you want to deal with.
Good luck and make the investment. They are great snakes.

My mexicans are calm and not nearly as bad as my pueblans. My male was shipped as a no feeder neonate and was looking gravely for a little while. Had to resort to pumping him. He eventually caught on but only has gained 4 grams since mid Aug. The female from the same clutch has taken off and is twice the size as the male . I was lucky, i did not have to scent. Had to with a grey band last spring but lucky other than that.
Good luck with your choice.
