Hello everyone,
I work at an animal shelter in n, and recently upon my arrival i found a box with a note containing 2 red eared sliders and a note saying please take care of these turtles, i don't have the money to. After reading the NJ laws i know they can not be released once they have been kept as pets, and I would like to keep them. I bought a 125 gallon aquarium and enough filters for over 300 gallons, basking platforms lights and everything i need, but i don't know what to do to get a permit for them. Can anyone help with this?
