New home?

kurrsplat Jun 01, 2003 05:53 PM

I was "given" beardie after displaying an interest in them. He was free and I never really got any information about him (how old, what kind, etc) I am now getting ready to leave for school and need a home for him. Everybody wants to know all this "important information" that I do NOT know. Does anybody have any tips finding him a home (keeping in mind I don't mind giving away all his stuff, but dont have enough money for a bunch of adds), or about how to figure out more about him? (attached is a link to a picture in case you people who know a lot about this stuff can tell what he is)

I can't tell you what phase he is, but perhaps with some more information we could come up with an approximate age. How big was he when you got him, how big is he now, and how long has he been in your care? Also, if he has been in your care for less then one year, has he stopped growing and how long ago did he stop growing?

I got him last july, he was 17 inchs then. He is still 17, but fatter. He was hibernating from about october to about february.

I would estimate (and its just that) about 2 years old.

His tail base is nice but he appears to have MBD in his mouth and back toes that I can see, not bad and it may be old as it is not advanced or advancing.

He is classified a common pogona vitticeps and he is most likey a red x gold cross (he does have nice color) and other than the trace MBD looks to be in pretty good condition.

It might help if you could tell people were you live at and what comes with him if he is picked up or shipped.
