would a 8' long x 4' wide be big enough to house 2 adult argentine b&w tegus?

Yeah that should be big enough. I've got 2 adults in a 8' by 3 1/2' cage and they gladly call it home. They're more then happy in there and don't even try to get out unless they get really hungry or have to go the bathroom. My cage is about 2' high just so there's enough room for the light (they don't climb). Don't forget to leave a lip so you can put about 6" of substrait on their floor!
