New cage sizing

second_hand_rose Nov 27, 2003 05:21 PM

Sanchoz is growing so must his cage. Can I have his cage 2'x2'x5' ? or is this too small? He's 8 months old and a veild Cham for those who might not know who Sanchoz is. I'll probally get a bigger cage still but we want to wait till we find a long term house, till we build the huge Chameleon cage.

Christa-

2'Lx2'Wx5'H is a good size cage for an adult Veiled. The minimum recommended size for females is 18"Lx18"Wx36"H for males it is 2'Lx2'Wx4'H. For the most part the bigger the better! Hope this helps!

Good news. My bf went out and bought all the wood. We spent a good fortune and found out that we could only go that big with what we had. Gotta cut back costs with the new babe in the house. We want huge like you can walk in it but that will have to wait *dreams*

whats a good mister system, with his little reptarium 65 gallons, I mist it about 4 times a day. I dont want to have to do this to a bigger cage. Can you make your own? Jason suggested using a sprinkler that you can set to pan - and set the flow. then put this on a timer. is this ok, or is there something easier. Like just buy one? lol
