Well, I just wanted to say that I went out and got Timmy a tank, light, heater and filter...so he is all set up now. I also got him some eye drops, but it is almost impossible to get the actually in his eyes. But, do my best.

glad to hear hes doing better...just remember, as long as you keep him nice and warm, he'll get better
Try turning him away from you when you give him the eyedrops for the element of surprise. It's the only trick I've been able to come up with when giving my turtle calcium thru a tube syringe. You might waste some drops but what you get in there will benefit
I think when they blink they might get liquid. My success rate in giving my turtle anything is about 30%. Obviously I'm not an expert, but I have observed that you have to have it all ready and in hand before putting your hand in tank and pulling out turtle... giving turtle drops and then turn him around and make sure he's okay.
I always feel really guilty after giving my turtle his little bit of calcium thru syringe (vet given).
