Are prices at shows generally cheaper?

dillingerlizard Nov 27, 2003 07:07 PM

I haven't been to a show before and I think I'm gonna go to the Dec. 6 one in orlando. I just wanted to know if the prices at shows are cheaper than normal. If so how much would I maybe be able to get a Green Tree Python or Emerald Tree Boa for? Thanks.

Hi! Prices are generally better at Shows, (of course no shipping charges) and you get the added benefit of meeting the breeder/dealer and handling the animal to be purchased. Not sure about prices for specific species, but I paid 20 for a normal BP, and 15 for an Amel corn snake.

Thanks! I'll be looking for a female Ball to breed with my male so that's good to know.

LOL...that's exactly what I went for. Actually, I went looking for a corn snake, and saw the CUTEST female ball, and just had to get her. A word of advice....leave your wallet at home. Take only what you want to spend, like going gambling! You'll come home with more than you planned.

I know that's gonna happen to me although I think I already have enough! But thanks for the advice.
