Question: Is the incubator at LLLReptile.com the one I need to get. "Thermal Hova Bator Incubator", or no? Here

Question: Do I need a digital scale to measure out the PRECISE measurements of perilite:water ratio. Or can you do it by "hand" and get the same results?

That's the model I've used with pretty good success. For leopard geckos, you do NOT want the one with the turbo fan as it will dry out the eggs too fast (from what I've been told).

The big breeders seem to be split on whether to add water to perlite based on weight or "feel". Most seem to prefer weighing from what I've heard. Can you borrow a digital scale? Anyone you know have a postage scale?

No, no one I know has anything like that. I guess I'm SOL about that, and hope that the "Feel" method works for me, because I'm running on limited funds (which is my mom's, lol). I hadn't planned for this to happen so early, because I was going to buy everything (incubator and such) next month, but I dunno if she'll lay before then, so I'll probably end up making my mom buy it for me and pay her back whenever I can. But she said that we could only buy the incubator package from www.lllreptile.com, because of Christmas coming up. :
