How much should I expect to pay for a monkey tail

Your safest bet to get a healthy animal would be a captive bred and born PTS. I would expect to pay 300-500$ for an animal like this, higher end for a breeding age or adult animal. You may find recent imports for less, but buyer beware if you choose to go this route.
Do your research on husbandry before you decide (and buy), and have your set-up ready. These large skinks need lots of climbing space, high temps and humidity, and high quality fresh greens/veggies. They are not recommended for beginners. Ask if you need specific care info.
