Back when I used to have my iguana, I had a 8'x8'x8' cage indoor with plastic-coated wire.

Works great for ventilatio, and to hoock up stuff such as ornaments and appliances...But!

It totally s#cks in the humidity department. What I did was mist the animal often, and left ice-cubes to evaporate to help a bit.

This of course, if you're talking about an in-door cage.
If we're talking out-door.......the you will be fine to go with it!

In case you are talking in-door, make the plastic-coated your front wall, and the rest glass.

If out-door, do it all around, as long as the holes are not too big to let the animal slip away.

I prefer plastic-coated wire than mesh cuz it's stronget to hang up accessories and decor, and gives better visibility of the animal, as well as letting in more sunrays.
