Hey...I have 2 collards and I bought one wild caught, but he's very mean. Any suggestions on taming him down?

Hey...I have 2 collards and I bought one wild caught, but he's very mean. Any suggestions on taming him down?
Pick him up every chance ya get ! Put him back in tank. If you have a place with no furniture, such as a bathroom, sit in there with him, let him get used to you. Dont grab at him, let him jump on you and become comfortable walking around you.
Soon he will not mind you picking him up. NEVER try and pick him up with hand coming down at him, (thats how their prey attacks them). Approach him from the front or side, low at his level.
Thats about it, thats what I do, and I have had quite a few wc's

Even after you've had him for years and seem tame as a kitty he's bound to snap back into his wild freedom loving self again..
I took my wc out to bask one day and one second he seemed calm and the next second he leapt off my hand out of my reach and took off running. no, sprinting SO fast... (we were in the park) and if it weren't because he froze when he almost stumbled upon a dog I would have never been able to catch up with him...
