just wondering.....i was going to replace the rock in my tank (been using a electric rock...just not plugged in...) so what is the best to use???...

Hi,
I'm not sure about the white stuff...it's not dry skin? The inside of their "ear" is white, but it shouldn't stick out. About the rock, don't use any kind of "heat" rock, or any other electrical device, as they cause severe burns. I would reccomend getting some pieces of slate and making sure they are on the very bottom of the cage so the uro can't dig under them. I have a large piece of slate for basking, and a smaller one on two pieces of wood so they can sleep under it or crawl ontop. I also spent $20 on a fake rock structure cave, but they love it so I don't mind
