Amel Motley picture

Marcel Poots Nov 28, 2003 05:40 AM

My '02 female Amel Motley. She is three and a half foot and 240 grams. I will try to breed her to my Bloodred male next spring and produce Motley Bloodred hets. The year after that I want to produce Motley Butter hets by using my Butter male.

But wow, she's big already! My oldest snake, a 2001 male is only 255 grams and 40 inches. My 2002s are puny compaired to yours.

Yeah I know. I can't help it but all my snakes get huge. All my corns (except small ones) eat once a week a small adult mouse.

I bought it here in Holland from a dutch breeder 'Erik Trip'. I am also very pleased with her.

Hey Marcel, I,m convinced there must be something in the water in Holland that makes your snakes so big and beautiful! Keep those pics coming.

Marcel Poots Nov 29, 2003 03:15 PM

LOL, many people keep telling me that. My one year and three months old Boa c. i. is a tad bit under two meters.. And she gets only one big meal every three weeks. Each and every snake I have had in my care for the last 15 years is BIG.
