My male has breed my female (Colombian) for 5 wks. She's shed & ovulated.....he's still breeding her. Not to be confused with tail alignment.I personally witness penatration all the time.

Last year I had a male continue to breed my female up unitl a few weeks before she had her litter. It was the first time I had ever tried to breed boas and my female was shedding almost like she would normally. She looked to be gravid but I didn't want to miss because I was mistaking ovulation swell for her being gravid so I left him with her. When he finally stopped showing any interest in her, I pulled him. She had them about two weeks after I pulled him. Who knows, maybe it is just pheremones that stimulates the male to continue?
