reduced pattern albino

jgriffi Nov 28, 2003 02:49 PM

Is there such a thing as a reduced pattern albino? I have a reduced pattern het for albion and he is very much reduced pattern. Is it possible to have a reduced pattern albino? Answer from someone that knows and not what someone might think.
Thanks

Certainly! "reduced pattern" and "banded" are locale specific when found in the wild. Find a similar patterned female and make little reduced pattern hets!

My albino male is completely reduced pattern. He has no white spots inside the yellow. His babies were also banded and somewhat reduced pattern. I am hoping that when I breed him to his daughters, their offspring will also exhibit the reduced pattern look.

WHOAH!!! I was looking for that jaw-on-the-floor smiley but they didn't have it. That's an awesome albino. I now know what I'll be looking for as my first ball morph next spring.

Hillary...he is beautiful....best of luck breeding him to his daughters.....I have a feeling they will produce some beautiful offspring.....you already have some awesome reduced pattern ball pythons....it would be nice for you to prove out the reduced pattern albino....

I sure appreciate that Gail! These reduced pattern balls are some of my favorites. I have been collecting them since 1992. Here is my female albino ball that is also reduced pattern. She is still a bit too small to breed this year...

But I think she is a perfect match for my male.
