Calci-Sand.

Does anyone use this product for their garters? The only problem I forsee using this is when feeding fish, the particles would stick all over the fish. Im currently using the green turf, but lately i can tell it is producing a strong odor, and cleanup would be alot easier if i could just scoop out their [bleep] instead of having to rinse the turf.

This product could do damage to your snake if he consumes too much of it. So you have to weigh your options on how much it might accedentally consume and the strong smell. compared to you having to rinse his (bleep)rather than scooping it out of vita sand. Another thing to consider is the reusability of the green turf. All in all if you feel comfortable that your snake is'nt consuming too much, Vita-Sand is a very good product for substrate.
