Hopefully someone will be able to answer this question for me...I know that some woods (cedar, etc.) have toxic fumes that can irritate smaller animals, I was wondering if anyone knew if the odor/fumes from a typical balsam fir christmas tree would bother or harm my day geckos? I keep them in the living room and I would like to put a christmas tree in there too, but I don't want them to become ill or worse. I've heard it's soft woods that aren't good, but I was wondering if there's any other conifers that we should worry about?? (i'm a nervous parent, my gecks mean the world to me!)
