I just got a baby leo from petco and it is awsome. I saw it and the guy tried to tell me it was a banded gecko when in fact it is a hypo rain water. I got him/her for 20$ which makes me pretty stoked. I'll try and post a pic of it tomarrow. Luckly for petco they are gonna give me a job next week so they will finally have some body that knows anything about the reptiles. The people there arent too bad though they take good care of the animals which I think is great but they just dont really what what is what.

i bought my male from there when it was a baby also it was my first one it is now about75 grams and a beautiful high yellow and it was only 10 dollars (it was on sale)

Awesome news! I also got my two geckos at PetCo! I have a (Super? 4 melamine spots including the neck) hypo tang, possibly a CT if this ONE spot fades up and a tang. Albino! I'm not sure of the strain of Albino, but most likely Tremper! Have fun with your Leo! (Great price too)

It most likey is a Tremper because gormet rodent gets their albinos from Tremper and that is who supplies Petco with their leos.

Very pretty! It is a regular tremper albino. sorry, its not hypo. But still very pretty! I love the darker ones. Here is my petsmart albino ive had for a couple years now. you can get some pretty good morphs from chain stores sometimes. I have a real orange hypo tangerine i got from petsmart as well, along with a dark tangerine male (its a real cool, autumn-like orange) from petco. Congrats on your new gecko!

The pic is of my albino I have not posted a pic of the baby hypo yet. I dont have my USB cord with me so I cant post a pic right now, but the baby is deffinately a hypo I'll post a pic tonight.

I think that your albino is a Tremper also.

There's true way to be sure unless you breed it, but most of the albinos out there are Tremper and if I remember correctly, some PetCos do buy leos from Tremper himself.
