Beetle question

z10silver Nov 29, 2003 10:15 AM

About how long after mating do the mealworms hatch? At this point is it necessary to move beetles to a different container? I have heard that they will eat the babies.

im not sure but i think they lay eggs 2 weeks after mating and the eggs hatch about 1-2 weeks later. i've had beetles mate and have eggs but it felt like such a long process. i could be wrong though. hopefully someone else can give you a better answer.
