Try australian velvet gecko. From what I know, you want to keep them at about 85 and a semi humid environment. I would say about 50-65% humidity should be good. They dont get very big, only about 5-6". Arboreal species.
There are a couple important tips to remember with castelnaui and many other Oedura for lots of success. These are some of their picky habits not always accomodated in caresheets.
-thick and textured branches (keep them at mellow angles and not high off of the floor of the enclosure). Adult castelnaui are very heavy bodied for the feet they have.
-LOW crevice-like hiding spots (SECRETIVE geckos). Don't use heavy objects, because they will still slide them around and the chance of them falling and crushing the gecko is not.
-low humidity overall and 85 degree F "basking" zones. Mist only one end of the enclosure every few days.
-they are semi-arboreal, spending much time on the ground or stones and a fair amount on branches. Little on the walls (monilis seem to like walls more; lighter bodies).
-female will often bark and fight in presence of a male.
-they hide in white light.
-hatchlings need to be kept in one gal. enclosures graduating size with age. (small for security and finding crickets)
I hope these tips help, it is not a caresheet, but will save you and the geckos some stress.
