Ultrasonic Fogger pics

BryanR. Nov 29, 2003 12:45 PM

I recently purchased a Ultrasonic Fogger from walgreens that was on sale for like 20 dollars. And for a test run, I stuck it in his tank and turned it on with store bought distilled water. I left it on for 30 minutes and took these pictures, hopefuly this will solve some of my humidity problems.

It's not a bad idea to put that in there...just watch humidity levels and also....those foggers have a little gold spit stream usually and it shoots water incredibly fast if your basilisk touches the stream it can seriously hurt them...rig something up so the can't get near the stream...if you don't believe me, touch it with your hand while it is in the water....it hurts.

I don't even bother w/those. I just say hell w/it and use a warm moist humidifier in my room. The tanks(including Kane's) that need humdity are nearer to it. My leos' tank is the furthest away. Plus, the way it operates increases my room temp a bit. my avg room humidity is 50 - 60 %, more so near Kane's cage as the thing in there is in the Tropical section.
