Tell me the fastest way to put a sick anole to sleep. I mean put to sleep as in die. Well my anole was sick well I did all I could to keep him alive he is old and well more sick. I need to know if I could put him in a cold place or the freezer or some thing like that to put him to sleep fast. He is so sick and may be in pain. I just want him not in pain any more. It hurts me to see him like this so is it ok to do that or let him suffer in the tank. He is dieing now PLEASE help.

How horrible.. you would rather kill it then try to make it healty.. maybe you should try to hand feed it and hand water it. right now I have an anole i found out side that sick and almost starved to death but I am taking the time to care for it by feeding it by hand and giving it water by hand and its doing better slowly. Maybe you should try to keep it alive and return it to its health and if you cant do that then you shouldnt own anoles they are hard to care for and need lots of food and water. Would you like me to put you in the freezer if you where sick and skinny? I think not.

OK DID YOU JUST TELL ME NOT TO HAVE ANOLES!!! OK leasen I had anoles for 10 years now. I have never had this happen that's all. But see he is very old and I have allready trid hand feeding. He is in pain do you want me to put him in more pain as it is all ready. Any way he died last night. See I rais them and don't keep them I give them to pet stores and people that know how to take care of them. I look at the thanks they have and see how they will take care of them than I see if I really can give them one. But I only give them to the people near me.

Im sorry he died .. but you should never give up on them you have to do everything you can and never think of killing it. I have a old lizard right now I am trying to bring back to the brink of death and its doing better. I have had anoles alot long then 10 years double that. Where I live they are common...I can walk out side and catch them....I dont go to pet shops and buy them. And I dont look for ways to kill a sick one I look for ways to heal a sick one. Im sorry it died but im glad you didnt kill it.

Oh I hope you lizard will be ok. It is just I hate to see my pets in pain. Hey I hate going to pet stors to for lizards like anoles but the pet stor I'm talking about I work at and I know. I have just started working there and I have known that pet stor for about 12 years now.
